Following their explosive performance at the opening concert for the 24th edition of the Festival, Mohamed Kouyou is back on the scene for a new concert; the fruit of a residency for where rigour and audacity go hand in hand. And for good reason! Take two brilliant artists: Moroccan Rhani Krija, who hangs with stars like Sting, Herbie Hancock, or Al Di Meola, and Frenchman Jon Grandcamp, who draws inspiration from African music, soul and funk. Put them together and add the ascetic playing style of trumpetist HBS, the haunting sax melodies of Kike Perdomo, and finally add the technical genius of electric guitar, Guimba Kouyate from Mali! The result is a dialogue between artistic and cultural streams that hear each other, exchange, fuse, and amaze us.
