Born in 1992 in Casablanca, Nabil Sansi is a versatile Gnawa artist: musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, as well as dancer and choreographer. Raised in a family deeply rooted in Gnawa tradition, he was immersed in this world from an early age, later enriching it through travel and artistic exploration. His journey led him to discover the tamboura in Qatar and to explore other spiritual repertoires such as Aïssawa and Hmadcha rhythms. Through instruments such as the guembri, flute, loutar and tamboura, he develops a distinctive artistic expression, blending heritage with contemporary creation. His work reflects a commitment to transmission and exploration, where music becomes a space for expression, sharing and renewal.
