Born in 1996 in Rabat, Morad El Marjan discovered his passion for Gnaoua art at a very early age. He quickly founded his own group and has performed at several festivals across Morocco, notably in Essaouira and Agadir. He trained at the zaouïa of Sidi Larbi Ben Sayeh under the guidance of Maâlem Seddik, son of Lfqira Zahra. In 2015, he performed with him in Essaouira, alongside Maâlem Boujmaâ Wassif, Maâlem Abdelwahad Stitou and Maâlem Mahmoud El Fylaly. He has also performed on official stages, including that of the National School of Architecture. Recognized for his talent, he has received several certificates and distinctions. Morad El Marjan thus embodies a new generation of Maâlems, combining authenticity with renewal.
