Morad El Marjan

Born in 1996 in Rabat, Morad ElMarjan discovered very young his passion for gnaoui art. He founded his own group and performed in multiple festivals in Morocco, especially those of Essaouira and Agadir. He learned in the Sidi Larbi Ben Sayeh’s zaouïa with Maâlem Seddik, son of Lfqira Zahra, and played with him in 2015 in Essaouira alongside Maâlem Boujmaâ Wassif, Maâlem Abdelwahad Stitou and Maâlem Mahmoud El Fylaly.

He also performed on official stages such as that of the National Architecture School. Renown for his talent, he received various certificates and awards.

Morad embodies a new generation of maâlems, mixing authenticity and renewal.
