Originally from Salé, Hajar Alaoui has carved out a unique path between singing and acting.
From the age of eight, her powerful voice captivated those around her, especially through renditions of Oum Kalthoum classics. In 2016, she was thrust into the spotlight by performing the theme song for the TV series “Dar Dmana”, marking the beginning of a bold artistic career.
Fascinated by Gnaoua music, she moved to Essaouira and engaged in multiple collaborations with figures such as Hamid Bouchnak, Martin Seigneur, and griot Mbemba Diebaté.
Blending Moroccan tradition with global sounds, she has forged a strong musical identity.
On television, she has won audiences over with her roles in “Hayat Khassa”, “Knaynati”, and “El Maktoub”, where her voice also shines through in the original soundtracks. A semi-finalist at Starlight in 2022, she is now emerging as one of the rising stars of Morocco’s music and television scene.
